This term we have had trainee nannies from Norland College at the school, in their first or second years of their four year degree. Today we see the three, first-year students leave.
"We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Paragon. We've been made to feel very welcome by all the staff and children. It has been great to see the parents and teachers working effectively together to provide a lovely homely environment." said Chloe, Alice and Hannah.
Their topic on their most recent assignment has been Communication between parents and staff. “Communication is a really important topic for us. The Paragon team work very closely with parents to help children take their first steps in school life with confidence”, Sarah James, Head of Pre-Prep, commented.
“All the staff and children feel that the four student have been absolutely fantastic and a real credit to Norland College. They've been willing to get involved in everything and we are sorry to see them go."
The students were keen to highlight how much they have enjoyed their assignment: "We have looked forward to every day at the school and learned much from our time here. Particular highlights include Forest School and Swainswick Explorers, the class assemblies, school trips and the Pre-prep picnic. Everyone works together in union and it has been a pleasant community to be part of this term. Thank you for having, we will miss you!"
