The Paragon School Parents' Committee
What is the Paragon Parents' Committee?
The Paragon School Parents' Committee is a committee representing parents of the school which meet roughly twice per term. All current parents are entitled to attend meetings and we are always delighted to welcome new members whether on a regular or haphazard attendance basis.
Our aim is threefold:
- Raise Funds to benefit the whole school
- Act as a conduit to the Management for ideas and feedback from parents
- Create a social atmosphere and encourage goodwill amongst parents, children and supporters of the school.
What do we do?
Our fundraising events include:
- Children's Discos - October and February
- Summer Fete and Barbeque - June
- Christmas Bazaar - November
- Quiz Night - January
- Paragon Ball - September (bi-annual event)
We also produce the bi-termly parents' newsletter "The Paragraph". To send news items for
inclusion to this newsletter

Funds raised via Parents' Committee events have, in recent years, contributed towards the following:
- The adventure playground
- Minibuses
- Nursery playhouse
- Trikes and Bikes
- Computers
- Musical Instruments
