Outside the classroom

Although we are not a large school, we offer a fantastic choice of extra-curricular activities from pottery and chess to conservation and gymnastics. Staff run more than 40 lunchtime and after school clubs and children can join whichever clubs they want, regardless of ability. The emphasis in these activities is on enjoyment and exploring new interests rather than excelling. For example, children don't have to belong to one of our successful sports teams in order to join one of our many sports clubs.

We also offer a rich mix of school trips and activity days including a week in France for children in Year 6, visits to local theatres and a residential adventure centre, and a Conservation Day that makes full use of our extensive grounds.
