Our facilities

Good facilities don't make a good school but they certainly give us an excellent starting point. Our bright and attractive classrooms and beautiful grounds create an uplifting environment that is conducive to learning. Facilities include:-

Lyncombe House
This Georgian mansion is the heart of the school. It houses our excellent library run by a dedicated librarian, large gymnasium/dining hall, ICT suite, nursery with secure indoor and outdoor play areas, art studio, modern languages and music rooms, and many of the classrooms. Our ICT suite has a network of iMac computers, all with child-safe broadband internet access. There are also computers and interactive whiteboards in individual classrooms.

Grounds
The Paragon is set in eight acres of beautiful grounds with woodland, conservation areas, lawns, streams, and both paved and grassy areas for play. It's the perfect 'outdoor classroom' and we use it right across the curriculum. It also gives children the space they need to run around, express themselves physically and burn off some of their energy.

Sporting facilities
Our on-site facilities include a well-equipped gym, two hard play areas (for tennis and netball) and a playing field. Our relationship with nearby Prior Park College also gives us access to their superb facilities including an indoor swimming pool, astroturf and grass pitches, tennis courts, athletics track, sports hall, and dance studio. Children in our Prep department regularly take advantage of these facilities as well as the extensive facilities available at the University of Bath, a centre of sporting excellence.
