Transport
We are keen to reduce the amount of traffic entering the school and encourage parents to car share, walk to school or use the complementary minibus service from Prior Park College.

On foot:
If walking into the school grounds, please enter through the main entrance and then turn right through the gate and walk through ‘Teepee Woods’, or enter through the middle gate. The owner of Prior Park Garden Centre has kindly agreed to allow Paragon parents to park their cars at the garden centre car park for morning drop off and walk their children to school - please display an A4 print out of The Paragon school logo on your dashboard if you use their car park: Schoolcrest
By bike or scooter:
There is a shelter available for storing bikes and scooters during the day.
By minibus:
A complementary minibus service operates from Prior Park College in the mornings and a minibus returns to the College in the evenings. Children will be looked after by a Prior Park staff member while they wait to board the bus. Our friendly and professional Transport Team will bring the children to The Paragon where they are welcomed to school by members of the Senior Leadership Team and helped to get to their classrooms to begin the day.
- The morning service departs from Prior Park College Sports Centre at 8:10 and 8.15am Monday to Friday (pupils should not arrive before 8.00am).
- The afternoon return service to Prior Park College Sports Centre departs from The Paragon at 5:00pm (after the finish of most after school clubs) or 4:45pm on Fridays.
For older children, it is sometimes possible to arrange for pupils to catch one of the minibuses that travels to and from the surrounding villages to the College. These then link up with the minibuses to The Paragon.
For further information, speak to the school office in the first instance: office.tps@priorparkschools.com
By car:
Lyncombe Vale is a quiet, residential area with narrow roads and so, during school drop off and pick up times, we operate a neighbourhood traffic scheme, in agreement with our neighbours. Please download a copy of this one-way system. There is limited parking at the school and so parents of Prep children are asked to use the 'drop zones'. If parking outside the school grounds, please remember to park with consideration for local residents.
