Music Tuition
Instrumental and Vocal Tuition
Music educator Zoltán Kodály wrote that ‘Music is for everyone’. This philosophy underpins our ethos for Music at The Paragon School, where we believe strongly in the importance of providing high quality, varied and exciting musical experiences for all children. As part of our provision, we are very lucky to have an experienced team of visiting instrumental teachers that offer individual tuition on a full range of instruments.
Why learn an instrument?
Learning an instrument or having singing lessons has so many benefits for children. Research shows that learning an instrument assists brain development, memory recall and retention, language acquisition and numerical problem-solving skills. In addition, it helps provides transferable skills that are essential for lifelong learning such as listening, concentration and working with others, and also helps to develop self-confidence and self-esteem, creativity and self-expression.
