Appointment of Permanent Head of The Paragon School from January 2026

The Board of Trustees is delighted to announce the appointment of Malcom Bond as the permanent Head of The Paragon School from January 2026. Against an impressive, gathered field, Malcolm, already well known within the Prior Park Schools community, was the clear choice to succeed Rosie Allen. 

David Catlow, Chair of Trustees, said:

“We are truly delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Malcolm Bond into the permanent role of Paragon Head from January 2026. Selected from a strong field of excellent candidates, we were delighted that our parents, pupils, and staff were able to take part in the selection process and very grateful for all the useful feedback.
Mr Bond brings a wealth and breadth of colourful experience, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to nurturing every child’s potential. His passion for education - combined with an appreciation for our outdoor spaces and the vibrant, supportive community that makes our school so special, promises an exciting future ahead. The Paragon has a strong and experienced senior leadership team already in place and we know that, alongside Mr Bond’s wholehearted commitment to the vision and values of our Trust as well as The Paragon’s unique ethos and setting, this will be especially effective in delivering the education experience we all cherish.”

The Paragon and Prior Park have both been such an important part of my life and my family’s life. They are two schools united in their vision and values - working together as one community - it’s a real privilege to give back to a place that’s given us so much.
