We were delighted to be able to run our three popular holiday clubs once again this Easter: Camp Teepee, Art School and Cookery Club. The school site was bustling with activity as the woodland was filled with children enjoying the great outdoors, cooking over campfires, building dens and using foraged materials to make rafts to sail down the stream in the Dingly Dell.
A three day Art Workshop - Modern Spring Florals, was an ambitious project, where pupils developed their initial sketches into large scale canvases using acrylic and spray paint. The results were beautiful and a sight to behold as they were displayed outdoors before being taken home to delighted parents!
Cookery Club is designed for a younger audience, and pupils from Reception to Year 3 baked and crafted all day long to produce a range of delicious Easter treats including Easter buns and Cheesy Chick pastries.
We're busy planning for the May half term and summer, so do keep a look out on our holiday club page for more information.
