The school congregated for a poignant Remembrance service this morning. Our choir, Joyful Noise, sang 'Band of Brothers' which was written by a former member of our school community, and pupils sang Tallis Canon as a prayer before we observed a two-minute silence. The Last Post was played on trumpet by Bob H, a Prior Park College pupil and Paragon alumnus.
Our Heads of School then continued the Paragon School tradition of laying a poppy wreath at Harry Patch's grave in nearby Monkton Combe. Harry was the last surviving soldier from WW1. The last fighting Tommy.
