Welcome!The Paragon School is renowned for its wonderful community, and the PTA is a  friendly group of parents, who meet a couple of times a term to organise social and charity activities for the whole school and liaise with the school leadership team.  New faces are always welcome!

Our aims are:

• To create a friendly and inclusive community and encourage goodwill amongst parents, children and supporters of the school
• To raise funds to benefit the school and school life, and raise money for charity.

The PTA has funded many exciting projects, including outdoor learning facilities, playground equipment, items for the kids' kitchen, healthy eating plates, library software, equipment for school clubs, tree sculptures, scooters and trikes, a 3D printer and swimming blocks. 

Fundraising 2024/25

The PTA are pleased to announce that money raised from the May Fayre will go to Bath City Farm in support of the great educational work they do within our city. The PTA takes decisions about how to spend any raised funds (from across all PTA events) with the upmost consideration. The PTA has two main objectives, to support the school in the pupil experience and to fundraise money a) for school enhancement projects and b) to support the charities identified by the PTA Outreach Team.

Money is usually split on a 50/50 basis between these two objectives, although we often donate 100% of funds from the Christmas market to charity, as we did this year for The Nest Project and The Saxon Riding Group.

Whilst there are no strict rules for what is considered a School Enhancement Project, we will always seek to ensure that it is adding a touch of specialness for the whole school to enjoy. It is an enhancement of the already in place efforts and plans of the school, and by way of example, in recent years, the PTA has funded a mobile planetarium to support Science Week, the Easter Egg Hunt and the sensory garden in the outdoor learning area.  PTA Funds are not for day to day operations or for the everyday running of the school. The PTA and school work together to assess any suggestions to make sure it meets these aims. If you have any ideas for enhancement projects then please do email the PTA at ptaparagon@gmail.com

The charities that we support are chosen by the PTA, often during PTA Meetings - we are always looking for ideas of charities to support. The PTA has a Outreach Team who are working hard to ensure any charity giving supports the schools messaging on the importance of community, and the QE Day initiatives.

We remain incredibly grateful and thankful for all parents support of PTA events during the year.

2nd Hand Uniform Shop

The second hand uniform shop is well stocked for all year groups and will run on alternate Thursdays and Fridays in the summer term 2025 - dates and times are advertised in the weekly bulletin.  No appointment is needed. Please contact the PTA if you would like to arrange a fitting using the email address: ptaparagonuniform@gmail.com
