Leavers' Destinations

In Year 6, pupils are prepared for their entrance exams into Prior Park College which take place in January of the year in which your child will start secondary school. Many of our pupils also sit entrance exams for other local independent schools, and are often successful in securing exhibitions and scholarships .

In 2023, 35% of our pupils were awarded scholarships and awards to local Bath Schools with destinations as follows:

Prior Park College - 23 pupils (10 scholarships offered)

Royal High School - 5 pupils (3 scholarships offered)

King Edwards School - 11 pupils (6 scholarships offered)

Kingswood School - 4 pupils

St Mary's School - 1 pupil

Beechen Cliff School, Hayesfield Girls’ School and Ralph Allen School - 7 pupils

 

In 2022, 33% of our pupils were awarded scholarships and awards to local Bath schools with destinations as follows: 

Prior Park College - 33 pupils (11 scholarships offered)

King Edwards School - 5 pupils (3 scholarships offered)

Kingswood School - 2 pupils  (1 scholarship and 1 x Head's Award)

Beechen Cliff and St Gregory's School - 2 pupils 

 

In 2021, our cohort of 54 pupils were offered 18 scholarships and accepted places at the following schools: 

Prior Park College - 26 pupils

King Edward's School Bath - 13 pupils

Kingswood School Bath - 1 pupil

Royal High School - 1 pupil

St Catherine's - 1 pupil

State schools - 12 pupils
