"Children in the EYFS quickly establish settled routines, and a love of learning, guided by empathetic teaching." ISI Inspection Report 2017

Dress up as a fairy or a doctor, rescue dinosaurs from ice, splash in the stream, or paint your hands green - there's always something fun to do at Squirrels Pre-School.

At Squirrels, we cater for three and four-year-olds, making learning lots of fun by using our wonderful facilities to encourage the children’s curiosity and creativity. We have spacious rooms, a walled garden and the grounds to enjoy but don’t be surprised to find the children in the role-play corner, at the interactive whiteboard, the den or the messy area. Bring your apron because the sand pit and painting area are in constant use!

The children are taught French, Music, Art and PE by specialist teachers as well as spending time in our library, gym and IT suite. The woodlands are used regularly too – we encourage our younger ones to be explorers and we are lucky to have eight acres of beautiful woodland to inspire adventures.

Squirrels Pre-School is happily involved in wider school life. In 2019-20, a production team from Bath's Egg Theatre worked with our pre-schoolers to research their Early Years Christmas production which was an exciting and immersive adventure for the children and teachers! The children also love to join in with school celebrations, assemblies and the school nativity.
