Governance and Leadership of Prior Park Schools 

Nic studied Business Studies at the University of West London. There followed a 30 year career in international banking working in London, Paris and Tokyo where he specialised in private equity and leveraged finance,
In the last few years he has gained both executive and non-executive board expertise whilst working for multiple local and national charities and voluntary organisations. He is currently the Chair of Governors at Cirencester Primary School.

An avid follower of rugby (he is a Twickenham Stadium Tour Guide!) he enjoyed sailing and retains a love of watching cricket and divides his time between Mortlake and Cirencester.

Ed Flower has spent the past 25 years building and scaling global technology consulting businesses. Passionate about innovation and technology used to drive business growth, today Ed leads an AI consultancy, working with technology companies and global brands to unlock the potential of new technology.

Ed’s passion for technology and advertising spills over into Education. He guest-lectured at Greenwich University, and more recently, he sits on the Advisory Board of the MA and MSc in Marketing Communication and Digital Marketing at the University of Westminster.

 As a dyslexic thinker himself, he advocates for the use of technology in education. He believes that it will aid neurodivergent children in their learning and help them reach their full potential.

 Ed has a love for the outdoors and adventure that started when he was a student taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s award scheme. He has led several expeditions for young explorers as part of the Dorset Expeditionary Society (DES) to India, Ecuador, and the Pyrenees, along with many a weekend spent in Wales and on Dartmoor.

Victoria has worked for over 25 years in education.  She has been a primary teacher, a governor of two schools, MD of an EdTech business, worked for AQA Education and is now a freelance consultant and project manager.  Victoria loves a challenge and was a member of the first all-female expedition to the North Pole.  Since then, she has been back to the Arctic twice, run multiple marathons and has climbed Kilimanjaro.  She is a motivational speaker and uses her adventure experiences to run resilience workshops for schools and businesses with a message of ‘Why not, what’s the worst that can happen?’ 

Victoria is very involved in the life of Langridge Church and is currently a member of the PCC.  Her son is currently in his final year at Prior Park College (2023) having joined the Paragon nursery at the age of three.  

David studied undergraduate and a masters of law at Swansea University, before training and qualifying as a solicitor in local government. David has spent his career working with local government on all aspects of employment law as well as data protection. 

David is a keen archer and can be seen on archery field on several weekends a year either shooting or officiating as a judge. 

After serving for 3 years as an Associate Governor of Prior Park School Gibraltar, Paul was appointed as a Trustee of Prior Park Schools in May 2024. Paul worked for 34 years in the Gibraltarian education system. The first 15 years were in the same building where Prior Park Gibraltar is now housed, before moving on to The Advisory Service at The Gibraltar Department of Education. In 2002 he took up the headship of Bishop Fitzgerald Middle School until retirement in 2015.

Jayne has spent the last few years as a Chair, Non-Executive Director and Trustee. Her most recent position until April 2024 was as Chair of University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). She joined NHS Charities Together as a Trustee in September 2021 and has recently been appointed Chair of Somerset Cricket Foundation.

Jayne spent more than 30 years in human resources and organisational development, working in executive director roles with the Boots Company, Whitbread, Royal Mail, Punch Taverns, Barratt Developments and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Jayne enjoys cricket, travel, Nordic walking, swimming and yoga.

Rev Rawlinson is the University Chaplain, University of Bath. He qualified in Medicine from Cambridge (Emmanuel College and Addenbrooke’s Hospital) in 1980. After surgical training, and whilst working in A&E at the BRI, he trained in WEMTC, Bristol, to be ordained into self-supporting ministry in 1999. He continued working as priest and “ordained doctor” as an A&E consultant, and then at Dorothy House Hospice as a specialist doctor. From 2011-2016 he was Director of Student Affairs at the Medical School in Bristol and in September 2016 he became a stipendiary ministry, working in the same location – outside church. He began as chaplain and team leader in the University of Bath. After over 30 years at All Saints Church, Weston. Nigel and his wife Pat moved to worship at Bath Abbey in 2019. Nigel and Pat have two daughters, Claire and Anna-Fleur, one son-in-law and two grandchildren. Anna-Fleur joined Prior Park College in the 6th form - an experience that was to be a life foundation for her.

James and his four brothers were all educated at Prior Park and his father was a governor of the school. He then studied dentistry at Edinburgh University. After graduation, he worked initially in hospitals and then moved into general practice until retirement. He was involved for many years in the vocational training of newly qualified dentists.

James has three daughters, four grandchildren and when not spending time with his family he enjoys watching rugby at all levels, playing tennis, golf and sailing. He also is a volunteer at his local hospice.
