Outside the classroom
We offer a rich mix of school trips and activity days to enhance the children's learning and experiences. These include a week in France for children in Year 6, visits to local theatres and historical sites, residential adventure centres, and many themed days that make full use of our picturesque grounds.
Although we are not a large school, we offer a fantastic choice of extra-curricular activities every week - from pottery and chess to sewing club and Samba Band. We run over 65 clubs at lunchtime and after school so the children can enjoy variety. For the majority of activities the emphasis is on enjoyment and exploring new interests. Some of the clubs are by invitation only. This enables us to provide the children with opportunities appropriate for their level.
To find out more download the latest club list (on the right). Our clubs can be categorized into those that are more creative, more active, involve music and drama, or provide challenge and knowledge. See the subsections on the left for further details.
