Music and Drama

A vast array of opportunities to use your talents, including:

Sing Out!: Start the week with a song. Popular songs and lots of laughs for children in Years 3-6, parents, carers and younger siblings with an adult.

Speech & Drama: Specific clubs for children in Years 3 & 4 and Years 5 & 6 working to provide the children with improved self-confidence and the ability to perform with poise.

Drama Club: This is a great chance for children in Years 4-6 to explore a range of techniques required to enhance their dramatic and performing skills.

Joyful Noise: This is an auditioned choir for children in Years 5&6. In this choir, the music is more challenging for our more able singers.

Boys Don't Sing: A boys' only choir for reluctant singers - hugely popular, this is a choir which has grown by the week.

Instrumental music groups - The majority of our instrumental groups are by invitation only. As soon as the child has reached a certain skill level on their instrument, they will be invited to join a suitable junior group. As well as having the fun of playing with others, the children learn valuable skills and widen their experience. Most children progress to the more senior groups, including orchestra and wind band once they have shown the necessary commitment and attitude. All our music groups work towards regular performances.

Saturday Active: A range of activities hosted at the senior school including African Drumming.
